Shakti Magick: Cacao, Shakti Dance, Gong

Join Tabather and Jo for a journey through the senses supported by gentle guidance and the heart opening medicine of organic Ceremonial Cacao, Sacred Sounds, Shakti Dance and the pulse of the Gongs.

An evening of discovery and exploration, coming home to the home within your own body and the sensations you feel whilst held in the container of the group energy.

We will begin with a short ritual of ceremonial cacao, drinking a gentle dose of this heart opening plant medicine. Then you will be guided to move into the Yoga of Dance combining creative movement, breathwork and sound to connect to your inner knower, your being, your soul. A way to tune into your own creativity and to release blockages that may be held within the mind, body and heart. To activate a new way of opening to the language of your body and your whole being. We will finish laying down, resting and receiving the vibrational sound of the Gongs to integrate your experience and end with a closing circle.

Practicals:

• EveryBody is welcome and no experience needed
• The safe space is created to move freely and to listen to your body – honouring its unique expression
• Dance barefoot if possible
• It is an active meditation, so whatever is going on for you, bring it to the practice and keep it moving
• Alcohol and substance free space

What to bring:

• Your beautiful self
• A bottle of water to stay hydrated
• Wear comfortable clothes, layers work well as you warm up & cool down
• Blanket, yoga mat, pillow, eye pillow, whatever you need to feel comfy for the Gong bath. There are mats and blankets to borrow.
• Special mug for cacao
• Notebook and pen in case you want to record any reflections

Please arrive by 6.45 pm so we start on time and open together with ceremonial cacao.

Jo Linney has been sharing Kundalini Yoga & Shakti Dance for 20 years. The space she holds is intimate and deep, often infused with live music. Her work continues to evolve, tuning in with natural rhythms/cycles, earth/cosmic energies, and the nature spirit realm. Jo regularly hosts live groups in Hove and also online.
