Corporate Yoga & Wellbeing in Brighton
Corporate Yoga & Wellbeing in Brighton
Evidence-led movement programmes for modern working bodies
A smarter approach to corporate wellbeing
Today’s working culture is demanding. Long hours at screens, high cognitive load, and low physical variation lead to the same familiar issues in workplaces across Brighton:
- Neck and shoulder pain
- Stiffness and recurring headaches
- Fatigue and loss of focus
- Postural collapse and the “desk hump”
- Stress that briefly eases, then returns
Traditional corporate yoga often provides short-term relief, but struggles to create lasting change. Attendance drops, engagement wanes, and the real benefits never fully land.
That’s why we created something different.
Introducing The Posture in Practice Programme
The Posture in Practice Programme is an evidence-informed corporate movement programme designed specifically for today’s screen-heavy working environment.
It doesn’t just offer a class, it creates buy-in, consistency, and results.
The programme is built around one core principle:
When people understand what they’re doing, why it matters, and how it supports their working day, they engage and they keep showing up.
What the programme addresses
The Posture in Practice Programme targets the most common challenges faced by modern office workers:
- Neck, shoulder and upper-back pain
- Persistent stiffness and tension
- Headaches and fatigue
- Poor posture and loss of spinal support
- Reduced motivation, focus and creativity
These issues don’t exist in isolation, they directly impact wellbeing, performance and job satisfaction.
How it works
Pre-programme engagement
Before the first class, employees receive a short introductory video explaining:
- What the programme is
- The realistic benefits of consistent attendance
- Why posture and nervous system health matter at work
This early education significantly increases initial uptake and long-term participation.
The classes
- 45-minute sessions
- Once or twice per week
- Delivered on-site at a location that works for you and your team
- Suitable for all levels and bodies
The sessions look like a yoga class, but they are far more targeted.
Each class intelligently combines:
- Posture-specific movement and strengthening, informed by the newest movement science
- Nervous system regulation to reduce stress and support recovery
- Lymphatic drainage to assist circulation and reduce stagnation
- Breathing pattern which is a pillar of good posture
- Fundamental movement patterns to restore efficient, pain-free function
Each element is effective on its own. Together, they create a uniquely potent wellbeing intervention.
Education that drives real change
What truly sets this programme apart is its educational component.
Participants learn:
- What they’re doing
- Why it matters
- How it applies directly to their body and their working day
This understanding dramatically improves engagement, adherence, and long-term behaviour change, all critical for corporate wellbeing success.
Micro-practices for the working day
Participants are also given simple “micro-practices” each week:
- Done at their desk
- Under one minute
- Repeated a few times a day
These small, targeted practices build on the weekly class and are where lasting change really happens.
A clear progression pathway
The Posture in Practice Programme supports employees through a clear journey:
Pain / discomfort → ease → resilience → maintenance
Because posture, like health, isn’t something you “fix once”. It needs ongoing, intelligent care.
Why this works for employers
This programme replaces low-impact, drop-off-prone corporate yoga with something that delivers:
- Consistent attendance
- Real benefits
- Improved wellbeing and engagement
- Happier, healthier, more resilient employees
And that’s what keeps people coming back.
