The Big Ramble: Kingston & Castle Hill Loop Walk & Drinks @ The Juggs

We are really excited for this new social event at EFL. The plan is to get as many of us as possible (families, friends, dogs welcome) together for a beautiful walk out in nature and finish off with a drink at the Juggs Inn, Kingston. To make it accessible to as many of us as possible, we decided to shoot for a 5mile loop that should take 2-3hours. It also has some short cut options should you or kids (ours possibly) start to flag.
What: starting at the Juggs in Kingston, a 2-3hours walk up across the South downs, around Castle Hill Nature Reserve and back into Kingston. Short cut option avoiding castle hill if needed for tired or little legs.
When: 21st April
Meet: 1:15pm for a 1:30pm departure at The Juggs, The Street, Kingston
Afters: Drinks back at the Juggs Inn, Kingston, ETA 3:30-4pm
Arriving by Car: Kingston is just off the A27 towards Lewes. There is parking at The Juggs and more available further down The Street. We’d also encourage lift sharing as much as possible.
Using public transport: Catch the 28 or 29 Bus from Brighton / Lewes Road and get off on the A27 at Kingston Ridge, cross the A27 and its a 20min walk on the footpath following the road into Kingston.
